Kick off spring at the IMAX: Free Family Tickets

Today is the first day of spring (and its super warm out!) What better way to ring in the new season than with butterflies at The Downtown Indy IMAX and the Indianapolis Zoo! In conjunction with the IMAX’s larger-than-life recent release of Flight of the Butterflies 3D, the Zoo’s new tropical Butterfly Kaleidoscope show opens to the public on Friday, March 22. Both immersive experiences are in White River State Park and within walking distance from one another.

How about checking out the Flight of the Butterflies movie with the family on the IMAX for free?

I’m giving away (5) family four packs. You will need to subscribe to my website updates to be eligible to win.

Tomorrow morning you will receive this post in your email as an update, be one of the first 5 people to reply and you will win a family pack of tickets to attend the IMAX film. Good Luck!

Based on true events, IMAX’s Flight of the Butterflies 3D is a larger-than-life scientific adventure that follows the epic journey of the iconic monarch butterfly in one of the most incredible migrations on Earth.

“There’s no better way to discover this amazing creature than on the state’s largest movie screen and at the Zoo’s incredible Butterfly Kaleidoscope,” said Craig Mince, theater manager of the Downtown Indy IMAX. “The incomparable beauty of butterflies comes to life on our six-story screen and in the Zoo’s warm, aromatic indoor garden – both within walking distance of each other.”

Downtown Indy IMAX tickets are $9.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors and $6.00 for children. Parking is always free in the White River State Park parking garage. Patrons should bring in parking tickets for validation by the IMAX box office. To purchase tickets or to get more information, visit
