Oscar Preview

The time is here; it’s the end of the award season for Hollywood with the 87th Academy Awards taking place this Sunday evening. 2014 was not a fantastic year for movies in my opinion.
There were a lot of really good films, but not many stand out classics that really demand an award. The host this year is the likable Neil Patrick Harris and the show will be great if we can get another moment like John Travolta delivered last year! He is scheduled to be a presenter. Adam Levine, John Legend and Lady GaGa are scheduled to perform.

I think this show needs a shot in the arm; it’s too long and boring. The Golden Globes and Critic’s Choice Awards move at a good pace and are a lot more fun. I respect every award and the hard working people who earn them, however most of the viewers only care about these seven categories.

Here is a preview with my take on who will win and whom I voted for this year.

Enjoy the show!
