This week I screened the new Terrence Malick film Tree of Life…
Brad Pitt stars in this wildly creative trip of a movie.
The film also has Sean Penn in it…for a little bit.
It comes out June 10…can’t say more about it until then.
For sure one of the more interesting films that I’ve seen in awhile.

Puss in Boots – Antonio and Salma at Cannes

Here is a photo just released of the stars of the upcoming Puss In Boots movie.
Antonio Banderas (Puss in Boots) and Salma Hayek (Kitty Softpaws), voices in DreamWorks Animation’s PUSS IN BOOTS, emerge from a giant pair of boots on the Carlton Pier in Cannes, France. PUSS IN BOOTS will be released by Paramount Pictures on November 4, 2011.

Did the creators of the THOR movie build their metal assassin “Destroyer” in the spirit of Queen’s “News of the World” cover art? Or is it the other way around? Here is Destroyer from the film, the comic version, and Queen’s album cover from 1977…
